We love Nightmare on Elm Street 3 (1987), it’s easily our favourite one. As ever, it features a group of teenagers desperately trying to stay awake so that everyone’s favourite crispy child-murderer, Freddy Krueger, can’t get them in their sleep.
What makes this movie stand out from the others is that the teens fight back and use their dream states to give themselves special powers in order to save themselves, and get themselves some much-needed shuteye in the process.
It doesn’t go great for Phillip though. He ends up having his veins used as puppet wires by Freddy and is walked off a high ledge to his death. Bad times.
