“Dry hair’s for squids” – Wise words from Jack Deth (played by Tim Thomerson) in Trancers (1985).
Trancers is a crazy tale about Jack Deth, a cop from the future who turns up in ’80s Los Angeles to hunt down his nemesis, a psychic criminal who turns people into the titular ‘Trancers.’ They’ll then do whatever he wants and that’s usually something very bad.
The film went on to spawn many sequels (five of them!) but the original is still the best.
As for the quote. Well, Jack likes hair gel. We’re not going to argue though. He was in Near Dark and therefore cannot be messed with.
