You thought it was going to be ‘You’ve got to be fucking kidding’ didn’t you? And to be fair to you, that’s a great quote that sums up possibly the maddest scene from any body horror film ever made. It’s just so perfectly timed and sums up exactly what you, the audience, are thinking as you see a guy’s head develop spider legs and start crawling away from the rest of his body (which has, for good measure, already eaten a doctor’s hands).
But what if we were to tell you that that’s not the best line in the movie? That honour goes to Garry who after one of the most intense scenes in the whole film, the agonisingly tense blood test sequence, finally loses his cool with this classic.
“I know you gentlemen have been through a lot, but when you find the time, I’d rather not spend the rest of this winter TIED TO THIS FUCKING COUCH!”
